Australian actor Bryan Brown is addressing the National Press Club in Canberra - follow live.

Brown is no stranger to calling for change and his advocacy has not been limited to the arts industry.stop holding asylum seeker children in detention centres. The group, which included Ita Buttrose, Ian Chappell and Claudia Kraven, released a song called We're Better Than This. In November 2022, Brown visited parliament to call on the government to implement quotas for Australian made content on streaming platforms.
The government announced it would introduce quotas for streaming platforms from 2024 as part of its National Cultural Policy.
