Snow has started falling over parts of Greater Manchester this afternoon.
Light showers of the white stuff have reportedly fallen over parts of Oldham and Bury, with more snow forecast for later this evening. Parts of the south have already been affected by the snow showers following the coldest night of the year on Tuesday. The Met Office has said temperatures at Kinbrace in the Highlands dropped to minus 15.4C overnight, the lowest of the year so far.Follow our live blog below for the latest weather updates.
