Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's office says reports of an imminent ceasefire in Lebanon brokered by an international coalition are incorrect, adding that he has instructed Israel's military to keep fighting with full force.

Lebanese Transport Minister Ali Hamieh told Reuters earlier that the Israeli strike had hit the Syrian end of a small bridge that provides a crossing into Lebanon.The escalating hostilities in the Middle East, particularly between Hezbollah and Israel, are going to be high on the agenda.
