Liverpool have continued their preparations for the Champions League clash at AC Milan on Tuesday
Liverpool will aim to bounce back from their shock Premier League defeat at home to Nottingham Forest when they take on old European foes AC Milan on Tuesday. The Reds are back in the Champions League after the absence of a season and begin the revamped first stage with a match at the team they faced in the finals of 2005 and 2007.
Elliott absence Liverpool's players suffered a few bumps and bruises during the defeat to Forest, not least Alexis Mac Allister who was caught three times by lumbering visiting skipper Ryan Yates. Mac Allister also suffered with an adductor issue during international duty with Argentina last week, but was moving freely during the session here. With Curtis Jones similarly featuring, it meant Harvey Elliott was the only notable absentee from Slot's senior squad.
