The first team squad and the manager visited the children's hospital
Arne Slot, Alisson Becker, Mohamed Salah, Kostas Tsimikas, Dominik Szoboszlai and Joe Gomez of Liverpool meeting patients during the annual Christmas visit to Alder Hey Children's Hospital on December 12 2024spent time with patients and their families. As well as learning about their conditions, they posed for photographs and handed out LFC gifts and treats.
“We think we do something that is special or important, but we don’t – if you come to a place like this then you see what is really important and really special work to do.”added: “For us to be here and to make these kids smile is such a good thing to do. I know it’s a nice surprise for all of them. "Spending Christmas in hospital is a difficult prospect for many of our children, young people and their families, so having the opportunity to meet some of their favourite players brings a lot of happiness and big smiles. I’d like to thank LFC for their continued support.”
