Liverpool are ready to try and lure Manchester United target Jarrad Branthwaite across Merseyside and submit an offer worth £70million for his signature. That's according to reports from The Sun, as Ineos continue to monitor the Everton defender even after snapping-up Leny Yoro and Matthijs de Ligt already this summer.
The Sun reckon Liverpool will offer £63million up front and £7million in add-ons. Branthwaite remains tied down at Goodison Park until 2027 - having signed a new contract with The Toffees last season - but there are indications he could be willing to leave as he 'wants' to play for a higher-profile club.ALSO READ: De Gea delivers message after Fiorentina debut
Elsewhere, reports from Football Insider reckon Everton are considering a move for Scott McTominay this summer. United rejected three bids from Fulham for their Scotland international previously. Everton manager Sean Dyche is thought to 'admire' McTominay. However, as per Football Insider, finances could be problematic and that, ultimately, might stop Everton in their tracks.
