Danny Lloyd has put pen to paper on a short-term deal with the club
Livingston boss David Martindale believes new signing Danny Lloyd was the perfect player at the perfect time for the Lions.
Lloyd, who counts Rochdale and Gillingham amongst his former clubs, was recommended to the club by current striker Kurtis Guthrie. Speaking to the West Lothian Courier, Martindale said: “Big Kurtis said one of his pals was still without a club and asked if we could have a wee look at him. He came into training and his conditioning was right up at the top which is rare when you’re bringing a boy in at this stage of the season.
He added: “We had a chat and I told him I liked what I saw both from footballing ability and understanding of the game and what we look for at the club. He’s got a great left foot, has a great delivery and can score from anywhere.
