Lloyds Bank has warned customers that millions across the UK could be entitled to claim back thousands of pounds. The high-street bank disclosed the introduction of a new facility designed to support individuals in discovering any due funds, as well as assist with the claims process.
Beyond government benefits, Lloyds highlighted other potential areas where money is being left on the table, such as Council Tax reductions for young professionals, and grants for eco-friendly home renovations. To offer further guidance, Lloyds directs users to its website, advising: "Benefit Calculator can be found in the new 'More Money in Your Pocket' hub in the Lloyds mobile banking app, available from the 'Everyday' page on iOS devices.
The banking institution added that since its initial trial phase a few weeks prior, the Benefit Calculator has successfully facilitated a multitude of customers to pinpoint financial support they may rightfully claim. Tamara van den Ban, at the helm as customer propositions director for Lloyds, pointed out: "Billions of pounds of support is provided for those who need it through benefits, but many customers don't know how to navigate the system or how to make a claim.
