A customer's enquiry has led Lloyds Bank to clarify the regulations for one of its savings account. The saver contacted the bank as they were puzzled by the rules for the Monthly Saver.
Addressing the customer, Lloyds clarified: "You'd be opening a new account which would have a zero balance. The maximum you can deposit is £250 including the first month, so you wouldn't be able to deposit £3,000 to it." Lloyds Bank recently issued a scam alert following a suspicious message received by a customer. The individual reached out to the bank via social media to express their concerns.
