The West Jordan Utah Temple will be constructed near 7200 South, west of US 111 – otherwise known as Baccus Highway. Church officials said the temple site would include a new meetinghouse. The multi-story building will be built on a 16.10-acre site at the western border of West Jordan . Similar to the West Jordan Temple, the Lehi Temple will include multiple levels and be around 85,000 square feet.The West Jordan and Lehi locations bring the total number of temples in the Beehive State to 30. Current locations under construction include the Ephraim, Heber Valley, Lindon, Smithfield, Syracuse, and Deseret Peak .
