PYX Resources shared in its annual results that total mineral sands sold during the period rose by 84% to 9,500t . However, production is lower, with total mineral sands output at 5,700t . The company produced 4,500t zircon over the period, down 20% from 2023.The fall in output was attributed to unusually heavy rain in May and June, coupled with the collapse of a bridge providing access to the mine.
"This decision will not only help to stabilise production in the long term but also ensure the socio-economic development of the region through the preservation of jobs and an increase in tax revenues to the state budget," chief executive Meirzhan Yussupov said.Shares were at 38p/share in morning trade.Aterian will start the maiden Moroccan scout drilling program at its Agdz copper-silver project.
