The 12-year NBA pro has departed the world's best basketball league to link up with Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv BC.
Longtime NBA veteran point guard Patrick Beverley, most recently with the Milwaukee Bucks, has agreed to terms on a new deal that will see him depart the league following a decorated 12-year run.According to his Barstool Sports podcast 'The Pat Bev Pod,' the 6-foot-2 Arkansas product is signing on with Israeli club Hapoel Tel Aviv BC.Beverley, 35, initially went undrafted after a two-season stint playing for the Arkansas Razorbacks from 2006-08.
He eventually lost a step permanently by the time he was shipped to the Los Angeles Lakers ahead of the 2022-23 season.The Lakers flipped the 6-foot-2 guard to the Orlando Magic as part of a four-team deal with the Denver Nuggets and Clippers. Beverley negotiated a buyout on the remainder of his expiring $13 million deal for that year, and as a free signed on with his hometown Chicago Bulls.
