Loose Women’s presenters continued to host the episode as the protests unfolded outside
anti-vax protesters clashed with Met PoliceCharlene White, Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore and Penny Lancaster were busy presenting Monday’s episode of the ITV talk show as the demonstrations gathered momentum outside the BBC Studios in White City, where Loose Women is filmed.
Sharing an update with her Twitter followers, Charlene tweeted: ‘Huge thanks to Andy and the security team over at Television Centre. The protesters attempted to gain access to the building while we were live on air with @loosewomen – and we’ve only just left, because of safety. Andy and his team were just incredible, thank-you.
The ITV News presenter then joked: ‘Not sure what protestors were hoping to achieve, but all they would’ve found was me, Jane, Nadia and Penny on @loosewomen talking about the menopause.
