Louise Minchin made a rare appearance on James Martin's Saturday Morning, looking more radiant than ever. The 56-year-old was all smiles as she joined the celebrity chef for a cooking lesson on flat fish and brown butter, while also sharing updates on her life post- BBC Breakfast, which she left nearly three years ago.
The former presenter has penned two memoirs and was on James' self-titled show to promote her third book and first fiction work - Isolation Island. During her chat with James, Louise revealed that her latest book was inspired by her own experiences. The plot revolves around ten celebrities participating in a reality show that goes awry - a scenario not too dissimilar from her stint on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2021, reports the Express.
Talk then shifted to her departure from BBC Breakfast, with Louise expressing reverence for the programme she'd "always wanted to work" on, as prompted by the host: "So I want to talk to you about leaving something like that because that's a big decision for you?"
