The Prince and Princess of Wales have arrived in Holyhead on their first official visit to Wales since the Queen died.

arrived in Anglesey this morning, ahead of getting a tour of the RNLI lifeboat station, where they are meeting crew and volunteers who support the unit.

They will then take a walk to the Holyhead Marine and Cafe Bar where they will meet people from local small businesses and organisations, including the coastguard and sea cadets.They are hoping to begin ‘deepening the trust and respect’ they have with the people ofHolyhead is one of the three oldest lifeboat stations on the Welsh coast and has a remarkable history of bravery, having received 70 awards for gallantry.

During that time, Prince William worked alongside RNLI volunteers and went on to dedicate a new lifeboat at the RNLI station at Trearddur Bay. Holyhead is only a half-hour drive from the four-bedroom farmhouse the prince and princess rented as newlyweds.
