The France international is currently under contract at Villa Park until 2026, but he could soon commit his future to the club., Digne could be tempted to sign a new deal with the Premier League side, especially if he returns to the international team regularly.
The left-back wasn’t part of the France squad for the 2022 World Cup or Euro 2024, but he has been brought back into the squad by Didier Deschamps. After being on the bench for France’s 3-1 loss against Italy, Digne could get the chance to play on Monday against Belgium. Despite being linked with a move away from Villa Park this summer, the 31-year-old did stick with the club he’s played for since 2022.
