Although a pair of sky-high stilettos look fab, they can also wreak havoc on your feet which is why fashion fans have been ditching them in favour of a pair of much more comfortable block heeled court shoes, which not only look chic, but give your feet a break too.
Although there’s no denying you’d get plenty of wear from the Gucci pair, we’ve managed to track down a more affordable version that gives you all the same look and comfort at just a fraction of the price. The M&S pair do have a closed heel rather than Gucci’s slingback style, so if you were hoping to stick to the luxury pair’s backless look, Dune London’s Patent Bar Block Heel Slingback Shoes, £90 here, have an even more identical look, although they do come with a higher price tag.
The wide fit also ensures they’re comfortable for those with broader feet, whilst the anti-bacterial padding helps keep them fresh – pretty impressive for less than £50.
