M6, M65 and A56 roadworks and lane closures to hit motorists this week

Major delays to motorists could be faced due to ongoing roadworks across most of the county's motorways.

Traffic management measures can be expected on the M65 between junctions 7 and 10. To put this in place there will be four overnight carriageway closures in both directions from Monday 10 to Thursday 13 October 2022. Six overnight carriageway closures are required on the M6 northbound and southbound between junctions 27 and 28. One carriageway will be closed at a time to reduce disruption on road users.
