Nottingham is getting ready for a wild Friday night experience with the launch of Mad House , a new immersive cocktail playground. This isn't your average bar; Mad House promises a night of over-the-top fun with wacky cocktails, a towering 10-foot gorilla, and interactive games like spin-the-wheel.
Drinkers can expect a range of eye-catching, fruity cocktails, including the supersized Aperol Spitz for sharing, the bubble-topped Ice Cream, the illuminated FireFly that's set ablaze before your eyes, and more. There are also options like Watermelon Sugar, the spiced rum and pineapple juice-based Fineapple, the rum, strawberry, and mint SnuggleBerry, Pink Lemonade vodka served with a vape, Paparazzi (a Pornstar Martini twist with a Polaroid photo), and the Gummy Bear made with peach schnapps, vodka, and Blue Curacao. To soak up the drinks, a selection of bar snacks will be available, including char siu pork bao buns, chicken wings, gyozas, and vegan and veggie options. Mad House is the brainchild of TK and Lewis, who spent a year staging club nights and restaurant events in Dubai and Marbella, bringing back some of the innovative ideas they encountered overseas. They aim to create an experience that's more than just drinks, with live DJs, interactive entertainment like spin-the-wheel and a surf simulator, and performers in baby costumes adding to the lively atmosphere. The first Mad House event kicks off on January 31st, running every Friday from 5pm to 10pm, before transforming into a rave until late.
