A signal failure at Rickmansworth has caused significant disruptions to the Metropolitan Line, with no service between Moor Park and Amersham/Chesham and severe delays on other sections. The Piccadilly Line is also partially closed due to leaf fall.
The Metropolitan Line on London’s tube network is partially suspended this morning after a signal failure at Rickmansworth in Hertfordshire. Transport for London has warned commuters there is no service between Moor Park and Amersham / Chesham and severe delays between Watford and Harrow-on-the-Hill as they fix the issue. The rest of the line is facing minor delays. Elsewhere, the Piccadilly line is closed between Rayners Lane and Uxbridge due to a shortage of trains caused by leaf fall.
Passengers are advised to use the Metropolitan line to complete their journeys
