Makati City mayor and senatorial aspirant Abigail Binay pledged to replicate the city’s successful programs at the national level to ensure every Filipino has access to better healthcare, education, and livelihood.
“These programs are not luxuries—they are necessities that every Filipino deserves. There is no reason why these benefits cannot be implemented nationwide, especially for the economically disadvantaged,” she said. Mayor Binay said good governance is essential for achieving inclusive progress, as it ensures that resources are used wisely, systems are streamlined, and decisions are made with the welfare of the community at its core.
Also known as the Makati Health Plus Program, it offers regular checkups, free maintenance medicines for hypertension and diabetes, unlimited dialysis, and chemotherapy treatments.
