A man who sexually assaulted one of two teenage girls he groomed and bought gifts for has been jailed. Police said the 16 year-old victim woke up in a hotel room to find Hasseb Afzal, 28, sexually assaulting her.
On June 8, 2024, Afzal took the victim to a pre-booked room at a hotel after giving her money to buy alcohol, where she woke up to him sexually assaulting her.On Wednesday Afzal, from Bolton, was jailed at Bolton Crown Court for eight years. He pleaded guilty to three charges he faced in total.
