The Manchester Evening News understands the protest relates to a family matter
A man who climbed the roof of a care home in protest over a family matter has been brought down safely and arrested.
The 61-year-old man has now been arrested and remains in custody on suspicion of threatening to damage and destroy property, GMP have confirmed. The Manchester Evening News understands he was staging a protest at the care home over a family matter.Wearing a "Proud to be British" T-shirt with a Union Jack flag on it, he stood on the roof of the building where a piece of material with a message on it was attached to some scaffolding.
