Norfolk Police says a man in his 60s is being questioned after he was arrested in Reading.
Norfolk Police launched an investigation on 2 December after a man in his 20s was found next to the road in King's Lynn at about 09:20 GMT.
The road was closed between the Pullover roundabout and the Tilney All Saints roundabout until about 17:00 GMT. A man in his 60s has been arrested in Reading on suspicion of causing death by careless driving, failing to stop and failing to report a collision.According to the preliminary findings of a Home Office post-mortem examination, the man died from a head injury.
