A man punched a Metrolink worker when they tried to move him on from a tram stop following a Manchester United match.

The 39-year-old, who was said to be 'extremely intoxicated' at the time, turned 'aggressive' and punched the two women as well as another man who was at the station. At Tameside Magistrates Court today , Neale was jailed for 28 weeks after he admitted three counts of assault by beating and being drunk and disorderly.
