Manchester City are due to take on Arsenal in their next Premier League match - and the Gunners will have Myles Lewis-Skelly available.
Myles Lewis-Skelly will be eligible to play for Arsenal against Manchester City on Sunday afternoon after having his red card for violent conduct overturned.
"An independent Regulatory Commission has upheld a claim of wrongful dismissal in relation to Myles Lewis-Skelly and removed his three-match suspension," a statement from the FA read. Arteta hinted in his post-match press conference on Saturday that the Gunners would have appealed Lewis-Skelly's sending-off if the FA did not retrospectively overturn it.
"Ok we were in a position we shouldn't have been in, at least let's be in a position that we should be in for the next few weeks and allow our player to continue to do his job." Lewis-Skelly will miss domestic fixtures against Manchester City, Newcastle in the Carabao Cup, and Leicester City if the FA do not retrospectively overturn his red card.
