Manchester City have accepted the Premier League's sanction.
Manchester City have been fined £2.09 million by the Premier League over breaches separate from their 115 charges for FFP.
The Blues, however, have been punished for a little-known rule, having broken it 22 times over a period of two seasons.The club have been fined over £2 million for 22 breaches relating to kick-off delays after accepting the sanction confirmed in a statement by the league. The statement read: "The Premier League and Manchester City FC have entered into a sanction agreement after the club accepted it had breached Premier League Rule L.33 relating to kick-off and re-start obligations."Rules relating to kick-offs and re-starts help ensure the organisation of the competition is set at the highest possible professional standard and provides certainty to fans and participating clubs.
Man City added: "The club has apologised and reminded its players and management teams of their responsibilities."
