Paramedics rushed to the scene in Ilford, east London, just before 9am.Sadly, the man was pronounced dead 46 minutes later.The gym, part of a chain with more than 320 across the UK, was closed for the rest of the day.: "Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 8.40am on Thursday, January 12, to reports of a man collapsed at a gymnasium at High Road, Ilford.
"The public, officers and medics administered CPR but sadly, despite their efforts, the man died at the scene at 9.26am."The death is being treated as unexpected and enquiries will be made concerning the circumstances."
