The Met's Marine Policing Unit, City of London Police, and the RNLI all joined the search but were unable to find the man.His identity is still yet to be confirmed. A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: "At 9.25pm the body of a man was recovered from the banks of the water at London Bridge."Police are working to confirm his identity and inform next of kin. The circumstances of the death are not being treated as suspicious."
Temperatures in the capital were an icy -3C last night after the nation was battered by snow and ice.
