A man has been found dead inside a home in Townsville, in north Queensland, after reportedly shooting at police cars and neighbouring houses. 7NEWS
Police declared an emergency about 9pm on Sunday for an area of Kirwan bordered by Dalrymple Rd, Kern Brothers Dr, Sandstone Dr, and Golf Links Dr.Watch the latest news and stream for free onA man inside a property reportedly fired several shots that hit surrounding houses, a car and responding police cars, police said.The police operation began about 9pm on Sunday night.
Drones were deployed to assist in the operation.
