The 43-year-old was found dead near the Fantasy Island theme park in April
A man has been found guilty of the manslaughter of Gareth Hart. The 43-year-old victim was visiting Ingoldmells in April this year with his family when he was stabbed to death in Roman Bank.
Joseph Malek, 33, was convicted of manslaughter, but cleared of murder after a two-week trial at Lincoln Crown Court. He was remanded in custody and will be sentenced on November, 3. When the tragedy happened, Lincolnshire Police told how officers attended Sea Lane following a call at 12.57am, on April 6, reporting an altercation near Fantasy Grill & Balti. A man, aged 42, was found injured and sadly died shortly afterwards.
Previously releasing Mr Hart's name and a picture of him on Friday , a Lincolnshire Police spokesperson said: "His family have asked for privacy at this difficult time. We continue to investigate. "Anyone with information, or anyone with dash cam footage in the Roman Bank area between 9pm on April 5 and 3am the following day, should contact us on 101, quoting incident 22 of April 6."
