Authorities charged Billy with escape back in Jan. for "intentionally and knowingly misrepresenting his identity to gain release from official custody."
Billy Partington, 30, had been serving a sentence of 72 days to one year for drug possession when, on Friday, Jan. 26, he was "inadvertently" brought down to the booking area, according to the affidavit.Billy's half-brother, Drake Partington, 21, was the one to be released after posting bail for charges of assault, trespassing, terroristic threats and harassment.
Court documents said Billy represented himself as Drake, signed the release form, put on Drake's personal clothing and was subsequently released. He was back in custody soon after., Partington had pled guilty to the escape charge on Friday.
