GRAND THEFT: 715 block of West Valley Drive. The catalytic converter was stolen from a Prius. The suspect was described as a male wearing all black and driving a dark-colored Dodge Challenger.POSSESSION OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE: San Tomas Expressway and Budd Avenue. A man was reportedly vandalizing the pedestrian bridge at John D. Morgan Park. He matched the description of a suspect who had stolen a FLOCK camera in San Jose one hour earlier and another FLOCK camera on Aug. 1.
GRAND THEFT: 1700 block of South Bascom Avenue. Two suspects entered with their own reusable shopping bags and stole over $1,000 worth of merchandise. The suspects were identified by loss prevention from previous theft reports at varying locations. ROBBERY, CARJACKING: 2200 block of Winchester Boulevard. A man was reportedly causing a disturbance in the parking lot. He got into the victim’s running vehicle via the front passenger seat and climbed into the driver’s seat. When the victim reached into the vehicle to remove the keys, the man grabbed a gold chain from around their neck.
