Police are appealing for information following the serious assault which left a 28-year-old man injured on Monday night, with a hunt for the suspect now launched.

Detective Constable Aislinn MacLeod said: “Our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.“We are appealing for anyone who witnessed the incident or who may have any information which could assist to contact us.
