Officers from Police Scotland are standing guard on Union Street near Glasgow 's Central Station amid an ongoing incident. Locals have reported seeing blood splattered on the pavement next to several items.
An area close to the side entrance to the busy station has been cordoned off as cops investigate. The nature of the incident is currently unknown.A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a man having been seriously assaulted on Union Street, Glasgow, around 4.45pm on Wednesday, 14 August, 2024.“Enquiries are ongoing.”
