Later Tuesday, authorities announced further details about what allegedly transpired, saying it started when 911 received a call around 11:10 p.m. Monday asking for assistance from a man who said he was being chased in his car. The 911 caller told police that the injured man was the one who had been chasing him and striking his car, officials said. The injured man was taken to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday morning.Investigators say both men were known to each other, and reiterated that there is no known threat to the public.
