A Nottingham man has been left with 'very nasty injuries' after being stabbed during a street fight. Police were called to St Ann’s Way, St Ann’s, Nottingham, around 11pm on Sunday following reports of an altercation between two men.

Detective Inspector Lisa Jones, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The victim has been left with some very nasty injuries and officers are working hard on the investigation. We are trawling through CCTV footage and carrying out other inquiries in the local area. It is important anyone with any information or relevant dashcam, CCTV, doorbell or mobile phone footage gets in touch with us.”

Claire McGonigle, Framework's Deputy Chief Executive, said: "No resident at Framework was involved in the attack - either as perpetrator or victim. The person who arrived at Mechanics House had already been injured.
