A man and woman were detained
Officers carried out a drugs warrant in the Compstall area yesterday . A 40-year-old later 'voluntarily attended a police station' and was arrested.
No arrests were made but a number of mobile phone SIM cards three sets of weighing scales were seized. Police said the action carried out across Stockport was part of a new neighbourhood policing structure, with another 264 officers posted to local teams. "People in Edgeley are concerned about shoplifting, homelessness and drug dealing, and it is the role of the police to make sure people who live and work here can go about their daily business with reassurance and in safety."
