It's a first return to the home of Scottish Rugby for Rangers since 2017 with man utd heading north for a summer friendly.
Fans of both Man Utd and Rangers will be at opposite ends of Murrayfield for this summer's glamour friendly.
Erik ten Hag takes his side north to face Philippe Clement's side, but it's going to be a capital clash rather than a Govan showdown, with the game taking place at the home of Scottish Rugby. That's because refurb work will be taking place at Ibrox over the summer, meaning all of the Light Blues' warm up matches will take place away from home ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
That means a trip along the M8 for the only 'home' friendly scheduled, with trips abroad and to England making up the bulk of the close season preparations. Murrayfield can fit an extra 17,000 punters through the turnstiles compared to Ibrox however, with tickets at the presale stage before Friday's general sale. And home and away sections have now been allocated for each club.
United are nominally the 'home' side and their fans have been urged to book seats in Murrayfield's South Stand, with Gers fans to buy their seats in the North Stand. It's familiar territory for them, having been housed in the same section for a 3-1 win over Hearts back in 2017, when the Jambos temporarily relocated to their rugby neighbours while the new Main Stand at Tynecastle was being built.
Rangers fans have also been advised that block N7 has been designated as a singing section - usually occupied for the Union Bears ultras group - so fans keen to get involved should buy tickets for there.
