But Garnacho appeared to be off-balance before taking the shot, and diverted his effort narrowly wide with the goal gaping.It was a nightmare moment for the winger, who was looking to back up his Community Shield goal with another after initially being left on the bench by Ten Hag at Old Trafford. That appeared to be noticed by former United striker Van Nistelrooy, who was appointed by the club as a coach in the summer and will have worked directly with Garnacho in his opening weeks at the club.
