Malen has emerged as a pivotal figure for Dortmund throughout the 2023-24 season, appearing in 33 matches across all competitions. During this period, he found the back of the net 13 times and contributed with five assists. Since his transfer from PSV Eindhoven in July 2021, the 25-year-old has been a stalwart for the German club, featuring in a total of 106 games, scoring 32 goals, and providing 19 assists along the way.The Dutch forward has experience in England during his youth career as he was at the Arsenal academy from 2015-17 before moving back to the Netherlands in pursuit of first-team football.
