Manchester United are looking to sign PSG midfielder Manuel Ugarte this summer but a potential alternative now looks set to move elsewhere
Manchester United-linked Youssouf Fofana is set to join AC Milan with the Italian giants reportedly agreeing a deal with AS Monaco.
And one of the potential alternatives to Ugarte has appeared to be Fofana who predominantly plays in central midfield but can also play as a defensive midfielder. "Youssouf Fofana to AC Milan, here we go!" He wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. "Green light just arrived from AS Monaco also on payment terms. Another midfield target Erik ten Hag's side have been linked with this summer is Burnley's Sander Berge with reports emerging last week that the Reds have held initial discussions with the Clarets over a deal. It's understood that Berge, who has three years left on his contract, is eager to make the switch to Old Trafford this summer. The Norwegian is valued at around £30m.
