Mason Mount's injury has thrown a spanner in Manchester United's transfer plans, it has been claimed.
According to the Telegraph, Mount is set to be sidelined for the next four to six weeks with his absence likely to have repercussions on the future of Scott McTominay at United.
Mount was substituted towards the end of United’s 2-0 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday with a hamstring injury and the publication has claimed that England international will be out until after the international break next month. A four-week lay-off would rule the midfielder, who was a £55million summer signing from Chelsea - out until September 19.
