The 49-year-old was let out having been locked up for repeatedly assaulting and raping a five-year-old.
Mark's crimes were uncovered after his partner discovered the videos on his phone - initially believing he was cheating.He was later arrested by police officers at a car park while keeping a suicide note in his pocket.Mark pleaded guilty at Glasgow Sheriff Court to possession of indecent images of children.
Sheriff Joan Kerr put Mark, who appeared from custody, on the sex offenders register for 10 years as well as his prison sentence.Officers raided his home in the early hours of January 15 and seized his Chromebook laptop. Prosecutor Amy Hunter said:"Officers were told by Cybercrime unit that there were indecent images found."A thorough examination recovered one still images of a girl aged between 10 and 12-years-old.
