Manchester Airport has reopened
was forced to close both its runways following 'heavy snow fall. while there are delays on the region's roads. It comes as the Met Office is warning of snow and ice across much of the country this morning , including Greater Manchester.
The statement read: "Following a period of heavy snow fall, we have temporarily closed both runways. Health and safety will always be our top priority and operations will resume at the earliest opportunity."Passengers are advised to contact their airline for the most up-to-date flight information."
