Pilots are taking industrial action in a row over pay
Manchester Airport passengers are being warned as a number of flights due to land at the airport have been cancelled this week.
It comes as Aer Lingus pilots started an indefinite work-to-rule at midnight on Wednesday in an ongoing dispute over pay. This means pilots will not work overtime or carry out any other duties out-of-hours.READ MORE: Latest Foreign Office warnings for Spain, France, Turkey and ItalySome 270 flights have been cancelled in total, Aer Lingus said, with a number of these due depart at Manchester Airport.
The flight operator said all Aer Lingus Regional flights and Aer Lingus UK transatlantic flights to and from Manchester will operate as scheduled, and added: "This work to rule industrial action by IALPA pilots will also not impact transatlantic flights scheduled to/from Manchester.
