Juventus have, reportedly, rejected a loan offer from Manchester City to re-sign Douglas Luiz for the rest of this season - as per claims in the national media.
However, Luiz has made just 17 appearances this campaign, all but four of which have come as a substitute. That is why, six months after arriving in Turin for around £43million, there are rumours linking the Brazil international with a Premier League return. Atalanta's Ederson is a player they are interested in despite it appearing unlikely the Italian club will sell mid-season. Therefore, Luiz would be a short-term option with only a temporary move sought.
