The shortlist for the Manchester People's Culture Award, supported by the Manchester Evening News, has been revealed
The Manchester Culture Awards are officially back for another year, celebrating the city’s incredible talent, creativity and culture.
Nominations for this year's awards opened at the end of May, with winners across twelve different categories including Best Event, Best Performance, and Young Creative of the Year. Other awards touch on important themes such as health and well-being, the environment and social justice.Now, the shortlist for the Manchester People's Culture Award category supported by the Manchester Evening News, has been revealed too.
Commenting on the special award and its public vote for the winner, Councillor Garry Bridges, Deputy Leader Manchester City Council, said: "Our creative scene in Manchester never ceases to amaze and the hundreds of nominations that come in for the Manchester Culture Awards each year reflect this brilliantly.
