Police are investigating the death of a baby girl who died within 24 hours of being born at a Manchester hospital.Greater Manchester Police said on Monday that following"careful consideration" the baby's death is being investigated for"possible gross negligence manslaughter" after concerns were raised to the force, as well as the coroner.
Paying tribute to their daughter, Polly's family said:"As Polly's parents we would like to thank everyone at GMP for their continual efforts every day in gaining us answers. Our beautiful brave baby girl Polly, we love you and miss you every day. Sleep tight my darling."
