Jack Lisowski was beaten 4-3 by Mark Allen at the Scottish Open in Edinburgh, conceding the match in the most bizarre fashion in the final frame
Jack Lisowski was visibly frustrated after another defeat to Mark Allen in a nail-biting match at the Scottish Open. The 33-year-old had an early lead and seemed set to win the seven-frame game, having scored breaks of 106 and 80 to level the score at 3-3.
Preparing for a shot on the red in the bottom-right pocket, Lisowski seemed to rush and paid the price by hitting the red against the cushion, moving it further from the pocket. Normally, he would wait for Allen's next move, but his frustration got the better of him. READ NEXT: Glentoran players 'fully committed' to Declan Devine blueprint
This marks Allen's sixth consecutive win against Lisowski, highlighting his dominance in their encounters. Perhaps Lisowski's actions were a sign of resignation, acknowledging his inability to defeat Allen.
